Rachel Koenig (USA) will lecture about the topic of "Ancient patterns of female being, embedded in the archetype of the triple goddess". Resie Moonen will talk about "Miscarriages in pregnant women". Natsu Watanabe from Japan will speak about Shinto and Classical Homeopathy. Ab Straatman will speak on "The infertile man and his future in challenging times". A lifelong commitment to continuous learning, combined with a busy practice in homeopathy, acupuncture and herbal medicine, enables her to study the effect of these therapies on various patients in depth. This brought her to the roots of the eastern and western philosophies, in the form of the (five and four) elements. In this talk her developmental journey, from childhood through her fertile years and onward to the mature realization of her female wisdom, will be explored through the alchemy of homeopathic healing. In this lecture she will present some cases of one remedy: one case of a woman who had frequent miscarriages, with a lot of bleeding, and one woman who had a severe fluxus post partum, this is profuse bleeding after delivery. The cases will be shown on video, and we don't only hear which symptoms the patient expresses, but also we can see how the connection with her feelings is in the first case, and in the second case how the connection is with her baby. This leads us clearly to the prescribed remedy. During the lecture we'll talk about the dd. with other remedies that are needed for these gynaecologic problems. It is a challenge to help women not only with these severe problems, but even more to help them to make a deeper connection with themselves and with their little babies, who are so dependent on them Natsu Watanabe MD, will bridge the gap between the Shinto philosophy as practised in Japan and the objectives of Modern homeopathy. Natsu is founder of one of the Homeopathic Schools in Japan and a dedicated student of Alize. She will show us the link between the Orient and the West in Homeopathy. Constitutional background and treatment will be given, as well as remedies like testosteron, butterfly, rosequartz and others will be deepend out with the help of the doctrine of signature and provings. Alize Timmerman will start with an overview of the developmental stages in man and woman. She will continue with the connection between human development and cultural development over the ages, starting at the ancient times via the development of Christianity till the here and now. What diseases have developed, how the subsequent maladies are related to the substances/remedies we use for healing.
Renée Koenders was trained as a homeopath, acupuncturist and herbalist at the Dutch University of Naturopathy in Hilversum, The Netherlands(Nederlandse Academie voor Natuurgeneeskunde). She has been a teacherin acupuncture and herbal medicine at this university since 1992. She was one of the founders of the Dutch society of homeopaths (NVKH) and participated in the E/ICCH.
Rachel Koenig, L.Ac, is a practitioner of Oriental Medicine specializing in holistic Women's Health, Fertility, and Pediatrics. She directly apprenticed with Jeffrey Yuen, a Taoist Priest in the Jade Purity Tradition, as well as De Ying Huang. Her homeopathic mentors include the late Dr Edward Whitmont, Dr R.N. Talukdar, and Alize Timmerman. Founder of Aurora Healing Arts in Park Slope, Brooklyn, she has treated families in community for 20 years. Co-author of the first published collection of Interviews With Contemporary Women Playwrights (1987), her forthcoming novel, set in Prague during three eras, is entitled The Ravens' Bridge. She is the ninth priestess ordained in the Ministry of Maåt, a non-profit, multi-cultural spiritual and educational organization nurturing the ideal of a harmonious and balanced world community through the support of women's spiritual and physical well-being.
Resie Moonen has been working for 25 years as a family practitioner, using homeopathy in all stages of life. She saw many cases of women in their pregnancies, she helped during deliveries, and she frequently visited new mothers in their childbed.
Ab Straatman: infertility is manifest in the western world. Is it planet Earth taking measures to bring down the number of tyrants ravaging her nature? In the seventh International Seminar integration of knowledge from different fields in Philosophy of Homeopathy and Psychology was discussed. In the coming seminar Alize will focus on a theme she has been working at for more than a decade now; problems and disorders related to Human Development, the “Family factor” in the treatment of children and the Female Side of Healing.
Degeneration can turn into regeneration, creating new possibilities for fertility, not primarily in the literal sense, but even more on the spiritual, social and cultural level. So, even when the bodily functions decline, fertility can grow. To complete the picture of decline and regeneration, parent- and child- relationships, as well as relationship in the wider family will be taken into account.
Preceding the International Seminar, The Hahnemann Institute will organize an open seminar on the topic of Fertility (may 28 & 29), with, next to Alize, guest speakers Ab Straatman, Resie Moonen, Renee Koenders and Rachel Koenig. This seminar will attract many participants, so the venue will be different from the one of the International Seminar.
In the Fertility Seminar Ab Straatman will speak on "The infertile man and his future in challenging times". Resie Moonen will talk about "Miscarriages in pregnant women". Participants of the International Seminar are most welcome to also participate in the Fertility Seminar, as it relates closely to the topics discussed in the International Seminar. Anamnesis “in depth” will always be part of Alize’s seminars, as understanding how the patient copes with his or her problems and feelings will always be the starting point of the healing process.

Vlinders en Vogels: Metamorphose groei en ontwikkeling en degeneratie en regeneratie.
In 2007 bracht Madeline Evans casuistiek mee van de Vlinders: o.a. Vanessa atalanta. En ieder van ons genoot van het inzicht dat wij verwierven door deze casuistiek. Inmiddels hebben wij meer kennis opgebouwd van deze middelengroep.
Mensen die Vlinder- en Vogelmiddelen nodig hebben zijn speciefiek mensen die hulp nodig hebben bij hun proces van van groei en verandering. Speciaal bij Vlinders zien we vooral vernieuwing. Mensen die een vlinder als middel nodig hebben, hebben het nodig het vernieuwingsproces zich in harmonie te laten voltrekken.
Wij hebben waargenomen dat Vlindermiddelen meer voorkomen bij onrust, verbonden aan vernieuwing of verandering. B.v. bij een kind dat op 4-jarige leeftijd naar school ’moet’ en heel nieuwsgierig is; door de spanning van het nieuwe alvast gaat “leren” en al lang van te voren mooie kleren voor school gaat uitzoeken. En soms met vlinders in het haar en bloemetjesjurkjes aan naar school wil gaan. Bij vlinder-patiënten hoort dan ook nieuwsgierigheid en opwinding, het dragen van felle kleuren. Ze kunnen niet tegen de hardheid van de competitie. En willen alles in vrede doen. De behoefte aan harmonie is groot. Je ziet dan ook dat mensen die een vlindermiddel nodig hebben niet over problemen praten. Ze kunnen klachten hebben die ze niet delen, de negatieve kant voor hunzelf houden. Vlindermiddelen helpen ook het hart te openen en te leren de veranderingen die ondergaan moeten worden te accepteren. Maar ze willen wel heel graag in de praktijk komen, om al hun veranderingen en leerprocessen te bespreken. Het LEER en LEVENS proces graag aangaan. En ze willen heel graag genezen en het ‘gezonde bestaan’ bevorderen. Dit zijn dus typisch patiënten die in een homeopathische praktijk komen.
Afgelopen jaren verzamelde Jonathan Shore veel informatie over vogels en schreef een boek over dit onderwerp. Alize Timmerman bracht de ‘duif’ en de ‘valk’ in zijn boek. Bij het Hahnemann Instituut zijn provings gedaan van de Adelaar en de Gier. Wiet van Helmond heeft de ‘Buizerd’ verder ontwikkeld . Hilly Stol gaf ons meer inzicht in de ‘Adelaar’. Jan Dingemans liet ons genieten van een ‘Flamingo’ casus. Elk jaar vinden er lessen plaats over de nieuwe nformatie betreffende de vogels.
Speciefiek zullen wij nu spreken over de ‘Gier’ en de ‘Duif’. Ook de ‘Gier’ helpt ons transformeren, de degeneratie tegengaan en de regeneratie te herstellen.
Jonathan zal voortborduren op de nieuwe inzichten die hij verwierf over de vogelmiddelen. De lessen zijn dan ook een vervolg op de voorafgaande seminars van Jonathan.
Behorend bij onze visie over nascholing vinden wij dat een onderdeel van de lessen de zelfontwikkeling en het vergroten van de zelfkennis is. Zelfkennis beïnvloedt de waarneming en het begrijpen van de ander in zijn ziekteproces, zelfkennis beinvloedt het hervinden van je ‘zachte’ helingscapaciteit. Met behulp van de Vlindermiddelen gaat ons hart open en leren wij minder vanuit ons oordeel te denken. Door intensief in het proces van herkenning en resonantie met deze middelengroep te gaan, heel je niet alleen de ander, maar vindt er ook heling via zelfkennis van onszelf plaats.
Jonathan was born in Cape Town, South Africa and holds credentials including an MD, Diplomate American Board of Homeotherapeutics, and Member Faculty of Homeopathy, London.
He has also completed post-graduate work in acupuncture, as well as intensive study in homeopathy under the guidance of George Vithoulkas and Roger Morrison. Although his practice is now exclusively devoted to homeopath, Jonathan his broad career has spanned psychiatry, child care, and acupuncture. Jonathan is currently a Staff Physician at the Hahnemann Medical Clinic in Albany, California, and continues his private practice in nearby Mill Valley.
Jonathan is a well-known lecturer in the homeopathic community and has taught at the International Foundation for Homeopathy where he himself completed the post-graduate course in 1991. He has also taught at the Hahnemann Medical Clinic; Faculty of Homeopathy in Glasgow, Scotland; the Norwegian Academy for Natural Medicine, Oslo, Norway; the Kairon Institute, Helsinki, Finland; and at the Homeopathie- Forum, in Munich, Germany.
Not content to focus his study of the healing arts on allopathy, homeopathy and acupuncture alone, Jonathan has also studied Jungian psychology, Gestalt therapy, Bioenergetics, Rolfing, Iridology, Herbal Medicine, Psychic Diagnosis, the laying on of hands, Bach Flower Remedies, Shiatsu, and Swedish massage. Other interests includeTai-Chi Chuan, classical Indian flute, Western and Vedic astrology and horseback riding.

De expressie van de universele kracht

Een de laatste jaren veel-gehoorde opmerking is dat de mens is doorgeslagen in het individuele. Met name in de westerse wereld is dat het geval, maar de rest van wereld laat zich niet onbetuigd en doet hard zijn best de achterstand in te lopen. Het zijn de hoogtijdagen van het ego. Tenzij de menselijke psyche een kwantum sprong maakt in zijn ontwikkeling stort het collectieve ego deze aarde en het leven daarop in een diepe neergaande spiraal.
De ver doorgevoerde individualisering in de homeopathische behandeling is een weerspiegeling van deze ontwikkeling in de mensheid. De duizenden middelen waaruit een homeopaat nu kan kiezen zijn een rijkdom en tegelijk een noodzaak die echter wel roept om een thematische benadering om door de bomen het bos nog te kunnen zien.
Hahnemann deed daartoe al een eerste poging door aandoeningen en middelen in verband te brengen met miasma’s. Voeren we zijn logica verder door en verbreden en verdiepen we zijn definitie van het begrip miasma dan vinden we in de schijnbaar verschillende individuele beelden veel gemeenschappelijks. Dan blijkt dat veel symptomen een expressie zijn van een collectieve aandoening die bij een gemeenschappelijke aanpak gebaat is.
Dan blijkt dat niet alleen de mens is doorgeslagen in het individuele, maar dat de homeopathie in het vinden van een antwoord daarop ook is doorgeslagen en de gemeenschappelijke wortels over het hoofd is gaan zien.
Homeopathie is expressie van een universele kracht die de schijnbare versnippering van de wereld heelt, het bewustzijn van eenheid herstelt. Net als dat individuele ziekten en symptomen een uitdrukking zijn van een naar heelheid strevende kracht zijn collectieve aandoeningen dat ook.
De voorwaarde tot heling en de basis van het principe dat het gelijke met het gelijke genezen kan worden is volledige acceptatie van een symptoom, een ziekte, een zieke, een mens. In diepste wezen is het similia principe een uitdrukking van liefde, van onvoorwaardelijke acceptatie van alles en iedereen. Ziekte is een toestand van buitensluiten. Genezing is de aanvaarding van de realiteit ongeacht hoe die is. Liefde is inclusief en daar zijn geen grenzen aan. Het begint bij aanvaarding van de hoofdpijn of de moeilijke jeugd, maar omhelst ook de malaria parasiet, AIDS, de verkrachter of de moordenaar.
Mijn werk in Afrika heeft mij wat dit betreft veel geleerd. Aan de hand van een aantal epidemische ziekten, collectieve trauma’s en chronische ziekten wil ik met jullie onderzoeken hoe het onderkennen van collectieve onderstromen het werk van een homeopaat eenvoudiger en doeltreffender kan maken. Niet alleen in Afrika maar ook hier in Nederland. En niet alleen op het gebied van de individuele behandeling. Door ook verstoringen in de collectieve dynamis te behandelen kan homeopathie ook de mensheid als geheel helpen in zijn ontwikkeling.
Hoewel het bovenstaande de indruk geeft dat het een dag wordt met veel theorie zal de nadruk toch vooral liggen op casuïstiek van zowel chronische ziekten, trauma als ook epidemieën om de theorie te bevestigen en te illustreren.

Ook als je ze lang niet ziet staan, zijn ze daar als je ze nodig hebt.
Bomen groeien als goede vrienden op goede afstand van elkaar.

Dit is een vervolg op vorig jaar en zal meer vanuit het manlijke gegeven worden..
De neurobiologie van ons brein. Eerst bekijken we hoe onze hormonen en neurotransmitters onze hersenwerking beïnvloeden en bepalen. Hoe onze stemmingen , ons denken, ons genieten en ons plezier en geluksgevoelens en partnerkeuze wordt beinvloed.
In onze praktijken komen veel jonge jongens, mannen en vrouwen , moeders en vaders; Deze groep patiënten vraagt ons hulp bij tal van hormoon beïnvloede veranderingen in ons leven. ook tal van problemen rondom relaties bezoeken onze praktijk.
We kijken daarna naar onze ontwikkeling . De ontwikkeling van onze hersenen als we een foetus zijn, als we een jong zijn, in de pubertijd en vervolgens naar volwassenheid.
Elke fase verandert ons ZIJN en functioneren. Bij de overgang van jongen naar jonge man en van vaderschap naar groot-vaderchap wordt vooral ons emotioneel en mentaal /spiritueel functioneren beinvloed. Ons lichaam leert ons brein. Het brengt ons in de eindfase naar grootvader en grootmoeder zijn naar onze wijsheid (“wisdomhormones”).
Samen met collega’s hebben wij een groot aantal belangrijke middelen tot ontwikkeling gebracht en in gebruik genomen. Middelen die aansluiten bij de ontwikkelingsfasen van de man en vrouw.
